Please print out and distribute copies in your local library, health centre, children's centre, toddler group etc.
Help make parents aware of their options as their children approach ‘compulsory school age’

    ALISON - is a global social enterprise providing essential, certified,  education and workplace  training skills free to any individual,  anywhere, over the web. Over 500 high-quality, certified, multimedia courses.

Educational Discounts

When you and your family go on any visits or day trips,  particularly on Mondays - Fridays during term time, be sure to ask if  they will give you an educational/school discount.  Many museums,  galleries, theatres, parks etc, are willing to offer discounts, but you  do need to ask.
Some examples are listed below:

For free entry to NT properties during term-time, apply for a yearly Education Group Membership    (2017 price 43.25).

HE families are admitted free to properties. Bookings need to be made in advance & it is  easier & often necessary to prove you are HE. Proof of HE can be by way of membership to EO, HEAS etc or other HE groups or  sometimes with a National Trust Education Group Membership card if you  have one.

HE families are eligible for Education rates during schools' term-time. (2016 price 5.50 per person)
Proof of HE is required. Families without valid proof must contact At-Bristol in advance in order to inform a Duty Manager.

Stonebury Learning - the Forest School group for Home Ed families is on Wednesdays from 2-4pm near Bristol.  The cost is 5 per family

Forest Schools

Fireside Forest School - Forest School sessions for Home Educated children in the Ancient  Wild Woods at Westley Farm, Chalford and at the Woodland Trust site in  Laycombe woods, near Wotton-under-Edge. Tues & Weds
